Well, I know it's been a long time coming, but the battle report for the apocalypse game we had in January is finally up!
Here everybody is milling about, chatting with their friends and waiting for the evil side to deploy. 10/03/09
BATTLE REPORT! So a few weeks ago, Jeff came to town for a visit and wanted to get a game of apocalypse in so that he could try out his scratch built Manta for the first time. Obviously I had to make the game happen! Hyde & I got together with Whit, Allen and Orion to stage a fully painted 7,000 point Tau vs. Imperium Apocalypse game, and it was a blast!
This game was what 40K is all about: Lots of fun, furious action, alcohol and sandwiches. And most important of all, mocking your buddies! So read on to see who won our big game of Mockalyptic proportions! 07/23/09
So last Sunday I participated in an Apocalypse game at the Soldiery, so I thought I'd pass on some of the pics that we snapped.
Eric set up across from me and my space marine ally... This game ended up being Imperials vs some eldar and Eric's superheavies!

Still stinging from their two previous defeats, the forces of EVIL (and misunderstood Eldar) throw themselves at the Imperial defense line once again. This time, they are attempting to cut off support from Genoa, the continent sized manufactorum that has kept the invaders at bay thus far. Unlike before, they are backed up by a legion of traitor guard and traitor titans, and all of the evil forces have managed to procure large engines of war. Genestealers cults emerge and begin the slaughter, which in turn draws the Hive Mind near, as the Chaos Filth and Xenos Scum surge forward, intent on cutting off the Imperials from their main supply route.

MEGABATTLE REPORT!
War has come to Gahanna Prime once again! The Chaos legions, supported by daemons, sow terror and discord among the population. Orks run rampant across the verdant plains, while Necrons Warriors flay the citizens alive. Dark Eldar capture thousands of slaves for their dark experiments while their Craftworld Eldar brothers lend their support to the forces of destruction as well. Can the Imperial defenders turn the tide? Can they repel the madness that has decended upon this world and let the light of the Emperor shine once more? Read on to find out! |
