So remember that 1000 pt army I painted up for Adepticon a few years ago? It needs a new home! Here is the army as a whole. 08/15/10
Since I haven't really been in the painting mood at all lately, I continued to work on the Vegas stuff. One of the many lists I am throwing around contains Vulkan, and I thought this might be an adequate representation of a dude with similar abilities. Not sure if I'm gonna stick with him yet, but if not, well, there's always APOC! 08/14/10
Not much to see, just been putting together some Space Marines so I can start playtesting for Vegas next year. 07/27/10
So a little something I've started working on, but haven't touched since I glued the wings on is my newish daemon prince. 07/09/10
So just a quick update, the Chaos Gods watched over me and I managed to pull off overall at Buckeye Battles today with 196 points out of 200 possible, and I got this sweet axe! I also won a Baneblade and a ticket to Vegas, hooray! Well that is it for now, just wanted to do quick post because I usually never win anything, lol! So check back soon to see pics from the game and lots of the armies. Blood for the Blood God! Thanks, MegaDave 07/07/10
So the gangs all finished up, with only a day or two left till the tourney. They still need some static grass and a clear coat, but it won't change their appearance any great amount. 06/25/10
So been walking around playing lots of demo games today and buying too much stuff. Then I ran into this guy, something that was made for Con on the Cob. I have no idea what it is, but it kinda reminds me of the poop bananna. And because of that I like it. Tomorrow is the 40kOrigins RTT and the Necrons are going to be floating in with a record of 11-0! Check back in the next week and I'll have the games up, and we can see if the 'crons can make it to 14-0. 06/02/10
So once again, none of these guys are 100%, but I have them to a point where I'm happy to take them to a tournament. I think the monolith really benefits from the gold transfers, it kind of centers the model a bit. Almost like I planned it that way all along. |
