Turn One

Allen started the game by dropping a dreadnought and a tactical squad right into the heart of my army! In a trend that was to continue throughout the game, he missed with his melta weapons and my forces were unharmed!

The rest of his troops burn rubber and come straight for me, putting me on the defensive from turn 1!

The raptors fly over the rainbow to flame one of his combat squads, and all of the anti-tank weapons aim at the dreadnought...

... which manages to survive the return melta and lascannon fire. The raptors kill three marines, sending the others running across the river and drowning one in the process, lol! The other combat squad is wiped out as well.
