BATTLE REPORT! So my second game of the tournament came round, and my guard were much more excited about this board with it's lack of LOS blocking terrain.
However, as they soon found out, their Black Templar adversaries had made a pact with the foul Chaos god Khorne to turn the skies black, forcing the battle to be fought with night fight! 08/31/09
Well this battle report is a week late, but I guess late is better than never! It's mostly because I've been dog sitting and... well, I don't have a good excuse, I guess I'm just a lazy bum. Anyhoo, on to the game!
I began by trying to prevent droppods from droppodding into the middle of my army. A brilliant strategy if used correctly. As you will see later on, I am not so brilliant. 08/02/09

BATTLE REPORT!
Me second game in the Origins RTT was against my good friend Allen Blount. Most of you longtime readers (haha) will already recognize him.

So my first game in the Origins RTT was against the enigmatic Eldar, who discarded their normally sneaky ways an decided to bring in the heavy hitters instead. This being my first game ever with my Chaos Marines, I wasn't sure what to expect.
Commanding the Eldar was Jason Garner. Really swell guy, lots of fun to play. 10/14/08
BATTLE REPORT!
So while we were at the Chicago Battle Bunker, Hyde played a pick-up game with Necron Steve. Necron Steve obviously plays Necrons, and the old metal ones at that! While we are not saying that Necron Steve is a robot, he could very well be a Necron Pariah in disguise. BATTLE REPORT!
Jervis Johnson, Captain of the 2nd Company of the "Grey Marines" spoke with murdurous fervor to his troops. "The Amerikhastan Mechanized Infantry have the nerve to grant a 'wish' of some sorts, donating the Emperor's Holy Credits to someone else!" He continued, bellowing into his helmet vox, "They have obviously been corrupted by Chaos, as wishes are for fishes and have no place within the Imperium! We shall exterminate these heretics and make the Emperor proud! Onward to glory!" Meanwhile, down on the surface, unknownst to the Imperial Guard, but knownst to us, doom was quickly approaching! The guardsmen were milling about, eating a hearty breakfast of grox sausage and catachan spice hash, when the camp vox crackled with reports of an incoming enemy. "Get up you rats, and grab yer guns! We got us some killin to do!" Full of grox, the guardsmen were slow to react, but managed to get everything together and grab their objectives. Confusion reigned as they realized that their objectives were big green plastic banners, and that there was no enemy in sight. Suddenly, they saw the movement of Space Marines on their right flank, and they knew that a fight was imminent. Although they didn't know why they were fighting over giant plastic banners, the guardsmen knew better than to ask questions. Officer Talbott's favorite saying was, "Our's is not to wonder why, our's is just to do or die!" Today most of the guardsmen figured they were going to die. As the marines closed in, they resolved that the worthless plastic banners would belong to the guard!!! 08/04/08
