So 40kBasement Brawl is officially over, and the EVIL team walked away with yet another victory!
The Planetary Governor was killed by a traitor in the Imperial Army, Chaos was able to an entrance into the Eldar Webway, and the Tyranids and Necrons were able to feast upon the slain. The Imperium was dealt a massive blow, and only time will tell if they can recover. Until then, all they can do is wait and see where the forces of Chaos will strike next... Well it was a great game and I had tons of fun, I hope you all did too! Keep checking back, I hope to have the battle report up in a couple of weeks. Well another scenery piece is done for the megabattle, only 7 more things to go!
When I have more time I'm going to go back and putty those seams in the skulls, they look pretty horrid. Other than that i'm happy with how it turned out, very nice model for drybrushing. So justin case you haven't heard, our big apocalypse game is happening on January 23rd! Get signed up! The game itself is going to be held at Genoa Township Hall, in Westerville, OH. The address is 5111 S. Old 3C Hwy, Westerville, OH. If you haven't registered your army yet, get to it! We are just three weeks away, and I need to start getting teams ready. So gimme your points totals! Doors open at 9:00, be ready to deploy by 10:00, and we'll start the carnage at 11:00! This game will be a full 6 turns, lasting all day. Got the upper carapace done, although I may go back in the future and add a symbol to the shield. I guess I really need to figure out what I want to call my titan legion first. 11/19/09
There once was a tradition of a small group of friends meeting up every Sunday to paint minis, this tradition is back!!! We also have plenty of modeling supplies. The fridge almost always has Diet soda, beer, vodka and tea inside it; munchies are also pretty common.
