Game one started off a little wonky, as the man in charge of the missions was running late. So we got started with the third mission, which included 5 pre-placed objectives, and alternating deployment in a 12" deployment zone. The tournament organizers let us decide what counted as a scoring unit in this game as long as our opponents agreed. So my opponent and I agreed to use standard 5th edition rules, because it's just better to use the status quo. After that was all cleared up, I noticed he was playing tau, so I held everything in reserve. 06/25/10
So been walking around playing lots of demo games today and buying too much stuff. Then I ran into this guy, something that was made for Con on the Cob. I have no idea what it is, but it kinda reminds me of the poop bananna. And because of that I like it. Tomorrow is the 40kOrigins RTT and the Necrons are going to be floating in with a record of 11-0! Check back in the next week and I'll have the games up, and we can see if the 'crons can make it to 14-0. 06/19/10
Just something random I forgot I had sitting in a file squirreled away on my desktop. Top Ten Reasons to join the Greater Good: 1) It’s for the greater good. Thanks, MegaDave 06/11/10
Games 2 & 3 were a little shorter, because the poor camera was running out of juice, but also because they were shorter on the game table. GAME 2 was the shooty Tau, very nicely painted if I might add. Most of the battlesuits were converted in some way, and the camo scheme was ace! I decided to start everything in reserve, and since I was going second the Tau had two turns to do nothing. I figured this would give them less time to phase me out with all of their S10 weapons and such. 06/09/10
